Biography

About Christopher Barr

Christopher Barr, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in relationship issues, anxiety treatment, and trauma-focused care. He earned his PhD and MS in Clinical Psychology from the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology at Palo Alto University, with a concentration in health psychology. His academic journey began with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Philosophy from Emory University.

I offer compassionate psychological services to help individuals navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and personal growth. I work in both English and Spanish, and also offer couples therapy. Together, we’ll foster healing, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

ACT

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) uses mindfulness to help clients accept thoughts and commit to meaningful actions.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps reprocess traumatic memories to reduce distress.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) aims to change negative thought patterns and behaviors.
